Microorganisms

 

• Like any other form of life, cell have a pressure (internal pressure) which generally corresponds to the barometric pressure of air. If exposed to negative pressure or vacuum, they burst and die.

 

Principle of operation of hydro-physical water treatment

 

Function – Sanitation

 

• The liquid is forced into the reactor at > 6 bar by a pump

• Due to the special reactor design, the liquid is accelerated significantly

• The liquid flows through the cavitation, venturi and redox zones in the reactor

• Microorganisms, such as Legionella, are mechanically split and destroyed by the

      immense shear forces and high pressure differences of +6.0 bar to -1.0 bar.

Function - "dissolving" dead biomass

 

• Oxygen completely oxidizes the destroyed cellular material. No accumulation

      of dead biomass in the system

 

Function - removal and prevention of biofilm

 

• The water becomes physically "finer" as a result of the treatment. Surface tension is reduced.

• Existing biological deposits, such as biofilm, are underwashed and removed

• The formation of new biofilms will be prevented

 

Function - Increased cleaning and drying capacity
